Portrait of Dr. Doda Lulgjuraj

Dr. Doda Lulgjuraj is a national Edward R. Murrow Award-winning broadcast journalist, doctoral researcher, and Graduate Faculty at the University of Florida. His work sits at the intersection of journalism, strategic communication, and media literacy education.

Drawing on original research with educators across the United States and surveys of adolescents, Dr. Lulgjuraj brings both the rigor of academic inquiry and the clarity of a seasoned journalist to one of the most urgent challenges facing families today: helping teens navigate a media landscape that was built to mislead them.

His book, The Talk We Forgot to Have, is a research-based, practical guide for parents and educators who want to do something about this problem, not just understand it.
